☆Cherry Blossom Viewing in Hiroshima☆

Best season of Cherry Blossom Viewing is coming soon in Hiroshima!
It's from the end of March to April. Hiroshima has many viewing spots, such as Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima castle, and Shukukeien park.
Let me introduce some of popular one for you guys!

Hiroshima Castle
There are about 440 of Cherry Blossom, you can enjoy it whole day!


Peace Memorial Park
There are few rivers near by, and view from there is awesome! You can just sit back and relax and enjoy both Cherry Blossom and the sound of a rushing creek.


Shukukeien Garden
There are about 205 of Cherry Blossom. You can enjoy both Cherry Blossom and Japanese traditional garden at once!
Also there will be Tea ceremony in early April!

Hijiyama Park
This is one of popular spot in Hiroshima. There are 1300!! of Cherry Blossom and if you go there at night, you can enjoy beautiful night scene and Cherry Blossom!

Yunoyama Onsen (Yunoyama hot spring)
There is a hot spring spa but it's not that hot, only 23.5℃. Enjoy both spa and Cherry blossom!


Hanami(Cherry-viewing party) is a typical event in Japan. In Hiroshima, many people enjoy this at those places! How about holding such a party under the cherry trees like local Japanese?

☆Kiyomori Festival in World heritage MIYAJIMA☆

Kiyomori Festival
Day&Time: March 18th (Sun) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Place: Miyajima

Day time is getting longer and longer these days and I can tell spring is coming soon.
There are lots lots of Event will be held in Spring in Japan. The best season for　Cherry Blossom Viewing is on the way, as well known. For Japanese Spring mean is making a new start. For student, they will go on to new class or school, for adult could be promoted or become new members of society and so on.

Before enjoying all those Events in Spring, There will be famous annual festival held in Miyajima

"Kiyomori Festival i"

In remembrance of the reverential virtue of Kiyomori Taira who built the foundation of the prosperity of Miyajima, the Kiyomori festival in the motif of "Itsukushima Shrine prayer parade of the Heike family" will be held.


Place:
Square in front of Miyajima pier → Omotesando Shopping Arcade → Mikasahama beach → Itsukushima Shrine → Kiyomori Shrine
!!!Participants pass through from Miyajima pier via Itsukushima Shrine worship to Kiyomori Shrine on parade in disguise such as the Heian picture scroll!!!


Contents:
Children parade, brass band and baton march are finished at Itsukushima shrine.
Children parade (around 100 children) - Brass band - Baton twirling - Warriors - Children of the Heikes - Kocho - Shirabyoshi - Karyobin - Priests - Biwa hoshi - Shinto priests - Wagons (Kiyomori compulsory labors / uchikisugata) - Retainers

Feb 3 (Fri) Mamemaki event in Miyajima (Daisyoin temple)

-Feb 3 (Fri) Mamemaki (bean-throwing ceremony event) in Miyajima (Daisyoin temple)- 11:00～

On February 3rd, many people will attend Daisyouin's annual bean-throwing ceremony to try to catch the fuku-mame.
The day's main event is the bean-scattering ceremony.
Enjoy Japanese traditional Event with local people!
